The Preload
Adjuster
must reach the
stop
before the
piston rod
begins turning
as
well. If
the thread
on
the
piston
rod is
tight,
it must be held to
keep
it from turn-
ing.
If Preload
Adjuster
is
not
screwed in all the way, the
rebound
damping adjustment
will not function properly.

tool. Pull the
spring
downward. Remove
