For installations with combustible refrigerants
• Every person performing work on a refrigeration system is required to submit
a confirmation of qualification issued by an accredited body authorized for
certification in industry. Confirmation of qualification is a certificate of competence
in the safe handling of refrigerants in the manner applicable in industry.
• Service work should always be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's
requirements. If the help of other people is needed during maintenance and repair
work, then a person trained in the safe handling of combustible refrigerants is obliged
to constantly supervise the work performed.
• In order to minimize the risk of fire, it is necessary to perform a safety control before
starting work on equipment in which combustible refrigerants are used. Before
