Sheets After the Barcode to Sort — allows you to select which sheets
of paper, immediately following the barcode sheet that matches the
rule, to send to the destination you set up for them.
• (none)
• Specified Number : allows you to select an exact number of sheets
from 1 to 99 .
• All Until This Criteria : indicates every sheet of paper will be sent to
the destination you defined, up to the next sheet of paper that meets
this rule's barcode criteria.
NOTE: Use this option if you have an unknown number of
consecutive pages in your document set that you want to
sort. In this case, obtain two barcode sheets that have the
same criteria as this rule, then place one barcode sheet
before the pages to sort and place the other barcode sheet
after the pages to sort.
• All Following : indicates every sheet of paper after the barcode sheet
is sent to the destination you set up, until the scanning session ends.
NOTES:
• Sorting that is in progress will continue until finished. So if you have a
rule to sort a specific number of sheets, and a second sorting rule is
met before that number of sheets has been sorted, the second rule
will be ignored.
• Sorting will be terminated by any of the following events:
- Stop scanning
- Multifeed that stops scanning
- Jam that stops scanning
Destination : the output location to deliver each sheet that meets this
barcode sorting rule.
NOTE: Destination is only available when Sheets After The Barcode To
Sort is not (none) .
OK — saves any changes and closes this window.
NOTE: OK is available only when at least one criterion is set up.
Cancel — closes this window without saving any changes.
Help : displays help information for this window
NOTE: If something happens during barcode sorting that disables the
scanner (e.g. a multifeed that stops the scanner and ends the
job), then any barcode sorting rule in effect will be considered
completed. No further action will be taken based on that rule.
