Buttons for rules:
Add
—
allows you to create a new rule. The Barcode
window will be displayed.
NOTE: This option will not be available if you have created the
maximum number of allowed rules.
Change
— allows you to change the currently selected rule.
The Barcode window will be displayed, with the options for
the current rule selected.
Delete
— allows you to remove the currently selected rule.
Move Up
— allows you to move the currently selected rule
up one position.
Move Down
— allows you to move the currently selected
rule down one position.
NOTE: Delete, Move Up, and Move Down apply to the entire rule,
not just the selected table row.
Search for barcodes after automatic rotation
— means the scanner
will look for a matching rule after automatic rotation of the image,
oriented by the text in the image. This setting can affect sorting by
barcode only if you use one of the following options:

Orientation
Horizontal or Vertical
• Search for a barcode by
Area
within the image
• Choose a barcode based on
Location
(reading from top down and left
to right in the image)
If you do not use one of the above options, then do
not
