
Programs and data are stored on the remote computer. This is where the pro-
gram is executed and the data is accessed. This remote computer (Remote
PC) is identified as ”RDP-Server“.
However, data is entered and displayed on the monitor of the local “RDP-Cli-
ent".
The exchange of data between the client and the server takes place as per the
"Remote Desktop Protocol".

RDP-Server (Remote-PC)
The RDP-Server (Remote-PC) requires one of the following operating sys-
tems:

Windows NT4 Terminal server

Windows 2000 Server
●
Windows 2003 (Server)
●
Windows XP Professional (Not Windows XP Home!)
●
Windows XP embededded (The Server-functionality is integrable.)

When using Windows XP Professional, the RDP-access on the PC in use,
must be enabled using the path below: Control Panel

To start the RDP-Client on the PC, the file

For other operating systems such as Windows 95/98/NT, the appropriate files
can be obtained from the Microsoft website.

RDP-Client (KeTop)
When starting the client on the KeTop, the file
cetsc.exe
must be invoked.
This is located in the Windows directory and can be accessed using the path
