General product description
Operation of the KeTop with a back-up battery allows the user to change to
different machines (connection point or terminal box) with the KeTop, but with-
out having to start the KeTop again every time.
WARNING!
In order to rule out the risk of damage or personal injury due to operator error,
the procedure described for use of the back-up battery must be taken into con-
sideration when creating the application.
Information
The back-up battery is discharged on delivery and must be charged for five
hours before being used for the first time.

Installing the back-up battery in the KeTop
10.8.2.1
Preconditions
●
No connection to the mains power supply
●
Connection slot of the KeTop open
●
KeTop connecting lead plugged into the connection slot

Installation
Proceed as follows to install the back-up battery in the KeTop:
1) Insert the plug of the connecting lead into socket S28 BATTERY in the
connection clot of the KeTop (the plug cannot be inserted incorrectly!).
