The lifetime of the background lighting (50.000 h) can be increased through
the activation of a screen saver via the control panel. Procedure:

Select the function "Automatically turn off backlight while on external power".
Here you can enter the turn-off time (15s to 30min).
Information
Frequent activation of the back-lighting by switching the KeTop on and off
(plugging in and unplugging) reduces the lamp service life. When the screen-
saver is activated, the back-lighting is only dimmed to minimum brightness
and is not switched off.

Touch Screen
6.1.1
Touch stylus and cord (KeTop ETP 002)
If the touch screen is not operated with the finger, we recommend using a touch
stylus (included in delivery). Touch styluses for example of PDAs by PALM or
SONY are also suitable.
On delivery of the KeTop from the works, a 60 cm long touch stylus cord is also
included in the original package for fastening the touch stylus to the KeTop.
The touch stylus can be fastened to the left-hand or right-hand eyelet of the
KeTop using the touch stylus cord.
