This
Display
Keycard
indicates
whether
or
not
the
lock
is
programmed
for
a
motor.
It
also
displays
the
current
status
of
the
motor’s
switches
and
whether
the
lock
should
be
latched
or
unlatched.
Note:
The
SAFLOK
MT
and
SL2500
locks
have
motors.
The
Select
lock,
Elevator
(ECU)
and
Remote
(RCU)
Control
Units
have
no
motor.

If
the
Hardware
Mode
Programming
indicates
a
single
red
flash,
the
lock
has
been
programmed
for
a
motor.
If
no
flash
appears,
the
lock
has
no
motor.
If
the
proper
lights
do
not
appear,
the
lock
is
improperly
programmed.
You
will
need
a
new
STARTER
2
Keycard
to
correct
the
problem.
If
the
lock
was
programmed
with
an
LPI,
the
lock
and
key
design
are
wrong
for
the
lock
type.
The
lock
must
be
reprogrammed
with
the
proper
STARTER
2
Keycard,
or
the
computer
design
must
be
corrected
and
the
LPI
used
again.
If
the
lock
has
a
motor
(SAFLOK
MT
and
SL2500),
the
Motor
Switch
Status
will
indicate
on
of
the
following:

the
lock
has

If
the
problem
lights
appear,
the
lock’s
harness
is
improperly
connected
to
the
circuit
board,
or
for
locks
with
motors,
the
motor
is
jammed
or
the
motor
switches
are
not
working
properly.
Refer
to
the
Troubleshooting
Section
of
the
Lock
Installation
Manual
for
instructions
to
gain
entry
to
a
closed
door.
If
the
intended
Latch
indicates
no
red
flashes,
the
lock
is
supposed
to
be
unlatched.
If
it
indicates
one
red
flash,
the
lock
is
supposed
to
be
latched.
