Cause

The measures descrbed on the left are

taken for safety when tltng the machne

head wthout turnng OFF the power.

In case the fuse has blown.

Neutral poston of the pedal s slpped.

(When changng the sprng pressure

of pedal, the neutral poston may be

slpped.)

In case the screw of handwheel of the

machne s forgotten to be tghtened when

adjustng the stop poston of needle.

Auto-lfter functon s set to OFF.

Pedal type s set to KFL.

Cord of auto-lfter s not connected to

connector.

Presser foot s lftng by means of auto-

lfter.

Auto-lfter functon s set to ON although

auto-lfter s not nstalled.

Motor output cord (4P) s dsconnected.

Connector of motor sgnal cord s ds-

connected.
Key lock s locked.

Correctve measure

Tlt the machne head after turnng OFF

the power.

Check the fuse.

Execute automatc compensaton of

neutral poston of pedal sensor.

Securely tghten the screw of hand-

wheel.

Select “FL ON” by means of auto-lfter

functon settng selecton.

Change the jumper to PFL settng when

lftng the presser foot by depressng

the back part of pedal.

Correctly connect the cord.

Operate the swtch after the presser

foot has come down.

Select “FL OFF” when auto-lfter s not

Correctly connect the cord.

Change the key lock to the proper level.
