COLD COFFEE

Cups have not been warmed
Warm the cups by rinsing them with hot water.
Temperature is set too low
Set temperature using the menu settings (see Use & Care
Guide).
Infuser is cold
Before making coffee, use the menu to run a rinse function
(see Use & Care Guide).
Scale clogged the coffee heater
Check the coffee temperature after the third coffee brewed.
It has to be 172.4°F (78°C). If it is lower, descale the coffee
system (see Use & Care Guide).
BAD COFFEE
STRENGTH OR
COFFEE IS NOT
CREAMY
Since the

Coffee is ground too fine
Check the grinder setting. Rotate the knob one click
clockwise, while the grinder is running. Make 2-3 coffees
and check them. If the powder is still too fine, continue to
rotate the knob clockwise, checking the grind after each
click.
Coffee is ground too coarse
Check the grinder setting. Rotate the knob one click
counterclockwise, while the grinder is running. Make 2-3
coffees and check them. If the powder is still too coarse,
continue to rotate the knob counterclockwise, checking the
grind after each click.
Grinder is worn out
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Replace the
grinder.
Did you change
the coffee
brand?
Blend of coffee is unsuitable
Use a blend of coffee specifically for espresso coffee
machines.
GENERAL
ALARM
When machine
was turned on.
NTC, Coffee
NTC, Steamer
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Check
connection between NTC and main board; check ohm value.
If it is 0 (short circuit) or infinite (open circuit), repair or
replace if necessary.
Displayed after
a quick motor
run.
Upper or lower diverter switch
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Check upper and
lower diverter switch. Replace if needed.
Hall sensor board
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Check
connection between the main board and the Hall Sensor
board. Replace if needed.
Main board
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Replace main
board if needed.
After 6 minutes
of running, the
coffee system
is still in
heating mode.
Open thermal cutoff
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Check
connections between TCO and main board; check ohm
value. If it is infinite (open circuit), replace TCO.
Heating element
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Replace heating
element.
Main board
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Check all
connections to main board. Replace main board, if needed.
There was a
strange noise
when the
infuser started
moving
Upper and lower diverter switch do not
open or close.
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Check upper and
lower diverter switch, and replace if needed.
FILL TANK!
Message is
displayed even
though there
is water in the
tank.
Float
Check that the float is present in the tank; the float has to
be free to move inside the water tank.
Reed Sensor
Check that the reed is correctly connected. Replace if
needed.
