GRINDER
During
operation
Water is running off too slowly
Adjust grinder by rotating the knob one click clockwise
while the grinder is running.
Water tank was removed
Check that the tank is seated in position. Replace water
tank.
Presence of air in water circuit
• Click Ok in response to the alarm several times to reset
or restart the coffee maker until air is removed. If the air
is not removed, disconnect the pump line to purge air
from the water line.
• Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Check
connection and, if necessary, replace the Flowmeter.
• Check the filter placed under the water tank and, if
required, clear or replace the filter.
• Check heater, taking off the water tube and running the
pump from Load Test Mode.
FILL BEANS
CONTAINER!
Message is
displayed
even if there
are beans in
container.
During grinding
there was a
strange noise.
Clutch obstruction because of stones or
other objects between the mills.
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Dissemble the
upper part of the grinder and remove the stone or excess
coffee powder.
Check the grinder motor (in Load Test Mode). If the motor
is idling, check the drive belt. If the drive belt is broken,
replace the complete grinder.
Grinder motor
does not run.
Faulty motor
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Replace the
complete grinder.
DESCALE!
Water is too hard
The Flowmeter measures the volume of water used. When
the volume is over the set limit for the selected water
hardness, the coffee system shows the “Descale!” message.
The water hardness can be set through the menu. The 4
settings are:
Water hardness 1 = 66 gallons (250 liters)
Water hardness 2 = 34 gallons (130 liters)
Water hardness 3 = 21 gallons (80 liters)
Water hardness 4 = 10.6 gallons (40 liters)
THE INFUSER

Diverter motor filter
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Check the
diverter motor filter board and replace if required.
Defective/broken service door
microswitch tab
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Check if the
service door microswitch tab is broken and replace the
service door if required.
Service door microswitch
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Check the
service door microswitch and replace if required.
Foreign objects on the bottom or along
the guide of the diverter/transmission
assembly
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Remove the
foreign objects and recheck diverter/transmission assembly
operation.
Diverter motor fault
Unplug coffee system or disconnect power. Check
connections, resistance across motor, and power to the
motor. Replace the diverter motor if required.
Main board
Check connections and if necessary, replace Main board.
