To Enter Load Test Mode:
1.
With the coffee system in standby (plugged in with the
main switch on but the machine off), open the service
door.
2.
Press 1 COFFEE, STRENGTH and OK until the display shows
the message “SELECT TEST” (hold for 6 seconds).
3.
Close the service door, and press CAPPUCCINO. The
display will show the message “LOAD TEST MODE.” This
mode manually checks the devices listed. To activate the
relays manually in the test mode, press the keys as shown
in the following chart. Press the keys only once.

: The Load Test Mode display is in English only

To Exit or Reset the Load Test Mode Procedure:
To exit the procedure, press the power button on the side of
the coffee system to turn it off and back on again.
To Reset the Upper Position of the Infuser:
With the machine in standby (plugged in with the main
switch on, but machine off), open the service door and press
1 COFFEE, STRENGTH and OK until the display shows the
message “SELECT TEST” (hold for 6 seconds). Close the door
and press OK—the coffee system will turn OFF. Switch the coffee
system ON and wait for the rinsing to complete, then turn OFF.
NOTE:
When the coffee system is reset, the language must be
set again.
To Enter Display Test Mode:
(Test the User Interface)
Before proceeding with any
corrective action, perform the following steps to enter the
Display Test Mode. This mode checks the User Interface.
1.
With the coffee system in standby (plugged in with the main
switch on, but the machine off), open the service door.
2.
Press 1 COFFEE, STRENGTH, and OK until the display
shows the message “SELECT TEST” (hold for 6 seconds).
3.
Close the service door and press 1 COFFEE. After a few
seconds, the display will show the message: “DISPLAY
TEST MODE.” When the relay is active, the appropriate
button is shown.
4.
Press each key as shown in the following chart, and the display
will show the corresponding/indicated message. If any of
the messages fail to appear, replace the User Interface.

To Exit or Reset Display Test Mode:

The machine will automatically exit the procedure after 10
seconds. This test resets the language and will restart from
the pump priming.

To reset the board: With the machine in standby, open the
service door and press 1 COFFEE, STRENGTH and OK until
the display “SELECT TEST” is shown. Close the door and
press OK.
NOTE:
When the coffee system is reset, the language must be
set again.

Voltage Measurement Safety Information
When performing live voltage measurements, you must do the following:

Verify the controls are in the off position so that the appliance does not start when energized.
■
Allow enough space to perform the voltage measurements without obstructions.
■
Keep other people a safe distance away from the appliance to prevent potential injury.
■
Always use the proper testing equipment.
■
After voltage measurements, always disconnect power before servicing.
