6.5 SYSTEM

SYSTEM
menu.
6.5.1 HDD
•
There are maximum five IDE HDDs you can use in the DVR system.
•
The supported capacity of single HDD is almost no limit, and manufacture brand is widely compatible.
•
Each HDD will be used as one unit. If you have any PC data in HDD, it will require an initialize to make a DVR file format.
•
The DVR used HDD is not expected to read by an ordinary PC or notebook(laptop).
•
Each DVR can be assigned a mode, it will separate HDDs as two different set.
- REC: Normal and Event recording
- BACKUP: Only for backup

It’s free to assign any HDD as any mode. But once you change the setting, you will need to initialize the HDDs.
•
All data will be cleared after initialized. Please be careful.
