EtherCAT
12.2.1
Product description
The EtherCAT technology module enables the connection of the item servo positioning controller C Series to the EtherCAT
fieldbus system. The communication via the EtherCAT interface (IEEE-802.3u) is realised with the aid of standard EtherCAT
cabling.
In the case of the item servo positioning controller C Series, the CoE protocol (CANopen over EtherCAT) with
the FPGA ESC20 made by Beckhoff is supported.
The EtherCAT technology module is supported solely in the TECH 2 technology slot.
Additional technology modules will not be supported if the EtherCAT technology module is used.
