At the first Dealer Service (50 hours)
the power steering pump filter and oil
must be changed by your ITMCO. Dealer
FRONT WHEEL HUBS (Fig. 40)
Check the front hub adjustment
every 500 hours.

If the front hub requires adjustment,
proceed as follows:
1. Raise the wheel off the ground and re-
move the hub cap.
2. Remove the split pin (1) and tighten the
castellated nut (2) to a torque of 80
Nm (60 lbf ft), then slacken off the nut
to the nearest pin hole to give the cor-
rect end float. Fit a new split pin.
3. Refit the hub cap. Grease the hub until
clean grease comes out past the seals
at the back of the wheel.
FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
(Two—wheel drive)
Check every 1000 hours.
Fig. 41:
With the tractor standing on level
ground turn the steering wheel so that the
front wheels are straight ahead.
Measure between the wheel rims at
hub height; the correct toe-in setting is
0-5 mm (0-3/16 in). Distance ‘A’ must be
greater than distance ‘B’ (Fig. 41). If ad-
justment is necessary proceed as follows:

Check every 1000 hours.

and both sides of axle.
