If they do not operate correctly or light
up this will indicate a fault. Check for a
faulty bulb (see page 96), faulty flasher
unit (see page 99), or a wiring problem.
Warning light panel (4 Fig. 1)
Master lighting (green)
Left Turn indicator (green)
Right Turn indicator (green)
Headlight main beam warning light
This blue light comes on when the
headlights are switched to main beam.
Low beam indicator (green)
Thermostart (orange)
Air filter blockage indicator light
(Dry air cleaner only)
This red light comes on when the air
cleaner needs servicing.
Alternator charge warning light
This red light comes on when the en-
gine starts and the starter switch key re-
turns to the ‘auxiliary’ position. The light
will come on if the starter switch key is
moved to the OFF position when the en-
gine is running, and will come on briefly
as the engine stops.
If this light comes on with the up-
per six warning lights and the engine
running, stop the engine and investi-
gate the fault immediately.
Engine oil pressure warning light
This red light comes on when the
starter switch key is turned to the auxil-
iary position. The light goes out when the
engine starts.
If the light comes on with the en-
gine running, stop the engine and in-
vestigate the fault immediately.
Oil filter light (orange)
If this indicator light stays on after
starting the engine, immediately stop
the engine and check the lubrication fil-
ter and lubrication system. If the problem
