6. Choose Upgrade Firmware and press

7. Choose OK to continue. The next screen appears.

upgrade and replace

terminal's firmware.

upgrading firmware.

8. Choose Yes to continue and upgrade the firmware. The terminal reboots and then
displays the Loader Waiting screen.
To exit without upgrading the firmware, choose No.
Note: If you reach the Loader Waiting screen and cannot upgrade or continue,
press
? or L to exit without upgrading the firmware. The Boot Menu appears.
Press
! to boot the terminal and continue.
9. On your PC, make sure you selected the COM port and Firmware Type, and then
choose OK. The PC downloads the firmware and application. Once the download is
complete, the terminal boots and runs the application. Repeat these instructions to
upgrade the firmware on another terminal.

instructions that ship with the utility or use the online help.
