Conventions for Commands
This manual includes sample commands that are shown exactly as you should type them
on your terminal or network device. The manual also describes the syntax for many
commands, defining each parameter in the command. This example illustrates the format
conventions used for commands:
To send a configuration command from the DCS 300, use this syntax:
$+
command[command]...[command n]
where:
$+
is the Change Configuration command.
Command
is a configuration command. For example, BV is the command to set the
Beep Volume on the terminal. Enter the command BV0 to turn off the
beep volume.
You can include multiple configuration command parameters in the command to
configure the terminal.
