9. Remove the four screws that hold the optical drive to the brackets as shown by
Figure 45 . Save these screws for future use.

10. Remove the two screws at the back of the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive to detach
the interposer board. See letter “A” in the figure below.
11. Carefully pull the interposer board from the drive, detaching the interposer board
connector from the drive. See letter “B” in the figure below.
