 RMM3 Using the Intel

®

 Deployment Assistant (IDA) 

The following section explains the RMM3 configuration using the IDA. 

 

 WARNING 

If you need to configure both channel 1 and RMM3, ensure that they are connected 
to different subnets. 

 

Note

: When using IDA to setup Intel® RMM3 Lite on Intel® S3420GPRX user can only 

configure BMC channel1. Since RMM3 Lite has no dedicated NIC, the BMC channel 3 
configuration with IDA is disabled. The user can access RMM3 Lite advance features from 
onboard NIC 5 (BMC channel 1).

 

 

1.  After selecting Server Management settings you should get a window as shown in Figure 9. 

Select which channel you would like to configure.
