SMART REEFER 4 (SR-4) Control System
Thermo King has applied the latest advances in computer technology to
develop a device that controls temperature and unit function, and displays
operating information quickly and accurately.
There is nothing complicated about learning to operate the SR-4 Controller,
but you will find that a few minutes studying the contents of this manual will
be time well spent.

Do not operate the SR-4 Controller until you are completely familiar with its
function.
The microprocessor components are located inside the control box, which is
located inside the lower roadside service door. The microprocessor is
connected to a Human Machine Interface (HMI) Control Panel. It is used to
operate the unit. The USB port is used to retrieve data from the data logging
system.
