IMPORTANT:
It is recommended to setup a separate emer-
gency channel to provide reliable emergency call opera-
tion.
NOTE:
When the Digital Request ACK function is activated, the
transceiver transmits the emergency call with a request to
send back an acknowledgment.
This function is usable in transceivers whose revision num-
ber is 2.9 or later for the Individual call, and 3.0 or later for
the Talkgroup or All Call. Ask your dealer for details.

Transmitting Position data
When a GPS receiver is connected to the transceiver, the
position (longitude and latitude) data can be automatically
transmitted when:
• The GPS request status message is received
• A voice message is sent.
- Set the ‘Send with Login’ and ‘Send with Logoff’ items as
‘Enable.’
• A status message is sent.
- Set the ‘Send with Status Call’ item as ‘Enable.’
• A message is sent.
- Set the ‘Send with SDM Call’ item as ‘Enable.’
• A Call Alert is sent.
- Set the ‘Send with Call Alert’ item as ‘Enable.’
• An Emergency call is sent.
- Set the ‘Send with Emergency’ item as ‘Enable.’
• An Emergency call with Man Down is sent.
- Set the ‘Send at Man Down’ item as ‘Enable.’
