Verifying the server time, date, and timezone settings
Use this procedure to verify the server time, date, and timezone settings.
Procedure
Perform the following steps to verify the current time, date, and time zone settings:
1. Enter the command:
date <enter>
The server time, date, and time zone settings, display. The following example
shows the type of output that is displayed.
Wed Apr 14 14:19:50 EDT 2010
2. Confirm that the settings reflect the preferences that were provided by the
customer. If changes are necessary, refer to Appendix A, “Changing the system
date and time,” on page 37 for instructions, update the settings, and then
return to this page.
3. Repeat the above procedure for all additional servers that you upgraded to
ProtecTIER v3.1.x.x.
