processes

failing
processor
and
retry
the
deconfiguration,
use
the
ha_star
-C
command.
An
alternative
is
reboot,
and
the
processor
will
be
deconfigured.
Then
the
system
can
continue
in
a
degraded
mode.

resource
indicate

trend
toward
an
unrecoverable
error.
However,
the
resource
could

processor
deconfiguration
can
be
enabled
to
deconfigure
the
processor.
Action:
To
enable
run-time
processor
deconfiguration,
use
the
chdev
-a
cpuguard=enable
-l
sys0
command.
Then
to
retry
the
deconfiguration,
use
the
ha_star
-C
command.
An
alternative
is
reboot,
and
the
processor
will
be
deconfigured.
Then
the
system
can
continue
in
a
degraded
mode.
