are customer replaceable units (CRU) and which components are field replaceable units (FRU).
v If an action step is preceded by “(Trained service technician only),” that step must be performed only by a
trained service technician.

015-xxx-198 USB device connected during test.
1. Disconnect all USB devices and run the test
again.
2. (Trained service technician only) Replace the
system board.
020-xxx-000 Failed PCI Express interface test. (Trained service technician only) Replace the system
board.
089-xxx-00 n Failed microprocessor test.
n = number of failing microprocessor
1. Reinstall and, if necessary, update the BIOS code
on the server (see “Updating the firmware” on
page 15); then, run the test again.
2. Trained service technician only:
a. Reseat microprocessor n .
b. Replace microprocessor n .
c. Replace the system board.
201-198-xxx Memory test aborted.
1. Restart the server.
2. Run the diagnostic test again.
3. See the error log for additional information.
201-199-xxx Unexpected error. Test aborted.

1. Rerun the test using another diskette.
2. Reseat the diskette drive cable in the connector.
3. If you are using an external USB hub, disconnect
the diskette drive from the hub and connect it
directly to the server.
4. Replace the following components one at a time,
in the order shown, restarting the server each
time:
a. Diskette drive.
b. (Trained service technician only) System
