Machine set-up
The machine must be prepared for transport by the operator with the necessary
collaboration of one or more ground assistants.
Follow the instructions for machine set-up as listed in this manual (
☞
"TRANSPORT").
Operations other than those in this manual may be performed only by qualified personnel,
authorized by Hütte Bohrtechnik GmbH.
If parts or components are separated from the machine, their movement must take place
through the use of an auxiliary crane.
The parts of the machine must be moved using the hooking point provided (ears, eyehooks). If
a part is not provided with a hooking point, it must be suitable strapped so that the load does
not swing about or fall over.
Wrap or fasten the hose bundles to the machine to kept them from protruding beyond
established clearances.
Loading on vehicle
Check whether the vehicle can support the weight of the machine or the parts of the machine
that you want to load (
☞
"TRANSPORT").
Move the machine very carefully in the phase of transfer from the ramp to the platform.
Avoid oscillation and abrupt movements.
After the machine is positioned on the transport vehicle, you will need to lower the stabilizers
down to the vehicle bed without raising the tracks.
Tie down the load with steel ropes of a suitable size to prevent movement during transport.
