– WINCH REDUCTION GEAR OIL CHANGE
WINCH (BREVINI BW 1500)
Place the mast in a horizontal position.
1.
Unwind the winch rope to uncover the oil filling and
drain plugs (A, B).
2.
Turn the winch drum so that one plug is placed in
the lowest possible position.
3.
Clean the plugs and the surface around the plugs
(A, B).
4.
Place a container under the drain hole (A).
5.
Remove plugs A, B and drain out the oil. To make
the operation easier, it is better to work when the
oil is warm.
The replaced oil must not be disposed of in the environment. It must be disposed of as
required by local laws.
6.
Turn the winch drum to place a plug in the highest
position possible.
7.
Fill oil via the filling hole (B). Stop filling when oil
starts coming out the level hole (A).
8.
Clean and refit the plugs (A, B).
