WARNING!
If the machine leaks oil, fuel, or other fluids, the operator
must comply with the following procedure:
stop the machine if it is running;
- ask for assistance from a maintenance technician;
- take the ignition key out of the control panel and keep it
with him;
- place the sign warning of maintenance in progress and
prohibiting machine start-up on the operator position (see
example in figure).
When the ambient temperature is less than 0 °C, before starting or moving the machine, it
must be free of ice (carefully check surfaces that can be walked on) and that none of the parts
of the machine are lodged in the ground (tracks, stabilizers, part of the mast, bundles of hoses,
pipes
, …).
To remove ice, when possible use mechanical or manual means.
To melt ice in the ground, a saline solution can be used, preferably warm.
WARNING!
Use non-toxic procucts/additives to remove or melt ice.
WARNING!
Do not use open flames on any part of the machine, nor saline solutions near the panels
and electrical components to remove or melt ice.
Start-up
WARNING!
if the control panel has the sign on it that warns that maintenance is in progress and
starting the machine is prohibited. The operator must not perform any operation and
must request the presence of his supervisor.
The machine must be started only from the operator position. It is prohibited to short-circuit the
terminals of the starter.
The operator must check that the engine is started at minimum speed (
