4.5.3.2.
Starting with emergency starter
A)
Machine with low batteries.
C)
Emergency starter. The emergency starter should be suitable for the characteristics of
the batteries (TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
– Electrical and electronic system).
1)
Turn the ignition key towards the left, to stop the power supply of the electrical system.
2)
Turn off all the machine's electrical devices (spotlights, fans, radio, ..)
3)
Clean the battery clamps carefully.
4)
Connect the red jumper lead to the positive clamp (+) of
the low battery (1).
5)
Connect the jumper lead to the negative clamp (-) of the
low battery (2).
6)
Start the emergency starter.
7)
Wait at least 3 minutes before starting the machine with
the low batteries.
8)
As soon as the machine's engine has started, disconnect
the jumper leads in the reverse order to that used to
connect them.
