6. TRANSPORT
6.1. General standards
During the phases of assembly and disassembly of machine parts for change of arrangements
or operating configurations, maintenance, replacement of worn parts, transport, the following is
required:
-
position the machine and its parts in such a way as to operate in conditions of safety and
facilitate the operations to be performed.
-
the machine parts to be removed should always be supported with appropriate means or
equipment not supplied by Hütte Bohrtechnik GmbH
-
the parts of the machine whose components are disassembled must always be properly
supported and maintained in a stable condition with means or equipment not provided by
Hütte Bohrtechnik GmbH.
WARNING!
Failure to respect the above mentioned rules and recommendations can cause damage
to persons or property, as a result of falling or unexpected movement of machine parts.
Staff
The machine must be prepared for transport by the operator with the necessary collaboration
of one or more ground assistants.
For a safe operation, it is necessary that all personnel involved in transport and start-up
activities is properly informed and trained. In particular, the following critical safety rules must
be fully respected:
-
all operators must wear the proper safety garments, as foreseen by the local applicable
laws
-
it is prohibited to pass or remain under the hanging load.
Work area
Machine assembly and disassembly must be carried out on a flat, firm surface that can support
the surface pressures induced by the machine and the auxiliary equipment used (

"TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS - Stability"). A flat horizontal surface facilitates assembly
and disassembly.
