9
Heat sink
Heat sinks cool CPUs. Each CPU is configured with one heat sink.
10
CPU
To provide powerful data processing functions, the N2000H V3 has
CPUs integrated with memory controllers and Peripheral Component
Interconnect Express (PCIe) controllers. The Appliance supports
Intel® Haswell-EP® E5-2600 v3 4-core, 6-core, 8-core, 10-core,
12-core, 14-core, and 16-core CPUs.
The Appliance in dual-CPU configuration supports a maximum of
two E5-2600 v3 series CPus with the maximum thermal design
power (TDP) of 135 W.
The Appliance in single-CPU configuration supports only one
E5-2600 v3 series CPU with the maximum TDP of 120 W, and
does not support CPU expansion.
11
Mainboard
As the most important component of the Appliance, the mainboard
provides CPU sockets, DIMM slots, and PCIe slots, and integrates
basic components such as the BIOS chip and Platform Controller Hub
(PCH) chip (C612).
The system mainboard integrates the display chip and provides 32
MB display memory. The maximum resolution is 1920 x 1200 at 60
Hz with 16 M colors.
12
PSU
backplane
The backplane connects PSUs to the mainboard.
13
Hard disk
The N2000H V3 uses hot-swappable hard disks to store data. It
supports the following hard disk configurations:
N2000H V3 with 36 + 4 hard disks:
24 front 3.5-inch SAS HDDs, SATA HDDs, or SSDs + 12 rear
3.5-inch SAS HDDs, SATA HDDs, or SSDs + 4 built-in 3.5-inch
SAS HDDs, SATA HDDs, or SSDs
14
Rear hard
disk
backplane
for 12 disks
The backplane supplies power to rear hard disks and provides data
transmission channels.
15
Chassis
A chassis houses all components.
16
Air duct
It is a ventilation duct in a chassis, and supports the chassis cover.
17
Fan module
The fans dissipate heat for the Appliance, support hot swap, and allow
one-fan failures. If one fan fails, the speed of the other fans is
adjusted by area to ensure heat dissipation.
18
Front hard
disk
backplane
The backplane supplies power to front hard disks and provides data
transmission channels.
