About This Chapter

This topic describes the system security policy and a user guide of Anti-virus software for the
appliance. Also, the system update method is described.

Security Reinforce

This topic describes the security reinforce policy implemented on the system.

5.2 User Guide for an Anti-virus software

This topic describes how to use a common antivirus software, taking OfficeScan as an
example.

Patch Update

This topic describes how to update the appliance system.

Before shipment, the Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 system of the appliance has
implemented some security reinforce, according to the Security Red-line of the Huawei. The
