You can configure two rear 3.5-inch hard disks in position 1 shown in

Figure 1-3

. The

hard disks are numbered A0 and B0 from top down.



You can configure two rear two rear 3.5-inch hard disks on in position 4 shown in

Figure

1-3

. The hard disks are numbered A1 and B1 from top down.

I/O module 2 supports only one riser card if the Appliance in dual-CPU configuration is
not equipped with rear hard disks. One riser card provides two or three PCIe slots.



You can configure a GE NIC in position 16 in

The rear hard disks in position 17 shown in

are numbered as follows:

ESNs

An Equipment Serial Number (ESN) is a string that uniquely identifies a Appliance. An ESN
is required when you apply for technical support to Huawei.
