4 Troubleshooting

To Install the External Battery

1. Switch off the PC and remove the computer’s cover (see “Removing and Replacing the

Cover”).

2. Remove the existing battery and firmly press down the battery holder.

3. Connect the external battery cable to the battery connector on the system board, as

shown below.

4. Mount the external battery on the backplane, using the self-adhesive strip supplied.

5. Replace the cover (see “Removing and Replacing the Cover”).

6. Run the PC’s Setup program to reconfigure the computer.
