First-Time Configuration
Entering a new VLAN name is optional. To use the pending new VLAN name, press the
Enter
key.
3. Enter the VLAN port numbers.
The system prompts you to define the first port in the VLAN:
Define ports in VLAN:
Current VLAN 2: empty
Enter port numbers one per line, NULL at end:
Type the first port number to add to the current VLAN and press the
Enter
key. The
following displays:
Port # is an UNTAGGED port and its current PVID is 1.
Confirm changing PVID from 1 to _. [y/n]
Type
y
or
n
to confirm your change. For each additional port in the VLAN, type the port
number and press the
Enter
key to move to the next line. Repeat this until all ports for
the VLAN being configured are entered. When you are finished adding ports to this
VLAN, press the
Enter
key without specifying any port. A summary of all the ports you
just entered displays.
4. The system prompts you to enter the new Spanning Tree Group index:
Spanning Tree Group membership:
Enter new Spanning Tree Group index [1-16]: 10
Enter a number from
1
to
16
.
5. The system prompts you to configure the next VLAN:
Enter VLAN number from 2 to 4095, NULL at end:
Repeat the steps in this section until all VLANs have been configured. When all VLANs
have been configured, press the
Enter
key without specifying any VLAN.
