a.  Disconnect  the  synthesizer  from  the A1711  connector. 

b.  Connect  the  Tracking  Generator  output  to  a  lOdES/step  attenuator.  Connect  the 

lOdB/step attenuator to a 1 dB/step attenuator and place a SOD termination on the output of 

the  1 dB/step  attenuator.  Connect  the output of the termination to  the A1711  connector.
