Extremely dangerous voltages can remain on the High Voltage
board (A 65) even when the instrument is turned off. Injury or
death may result if an un insulated tool or object is placed on the
board.
n . Connect the calibrated, high voltage probe to A65TP l (plated through hole in PC
board).

4k V will be measured when the instrument is turned on. USE EX
TREME CA UTION to avoid serious injury or death .
o . Turn the 3585A power on.
p . Adjust A67R46 for a voltage reading equal to the voltage marked on the high voltage
sticker
