14.6 Periodic maintenance
of crop protection sprayer
14.6.1 Maintenance after the first
travel under load
¾
Check the hydraulic system for leak tightness.
¾
Check the spraying pump for leak tightness.
14.6.2 Daily maintenance
¾
Clean and rinse spraying pump, spraying
mixture container, spraying nozzles, pressure
and line filters.
¾
Visually inspect the complete machine for
apparent faults.
14.6.3 Maintenance after 50
operating hours or once per week
¾
Check water system / hoses for leak tightness.
¾
Lubricate all lubrication points on the folding
boom by following the lubrication plan (chap-
ter 14.8).
¾
Clean the suction filter / pressure filter ele -
ment, replace the filter element if damaged.
¾
Visual inspection of folding joints for zero
clearance, wear and apparent faults. In case
of clearance or loosened components con-
sult the Service Department of HORSCH
LEEB and have the fault corrected (work-
shop work).
¾
Have the hydraulic system checked for leak
tightness (workshop work) .
¾
Check the lubricator and fill up pneumatic oil,
if required.
14.6.4 Maintenance after 1000
operating hours or annually
¾
Calibrate the flow meter.
¾
Perform volumetric measurement of the crop
protection sprayer and check the transverse
distribution. Replace worn nozzles.
14.6.5 Maintenance as required
¾
Correct folding boom settings (workshop work).
¾
Replace defective illumination.
