5-8 Double Feed Stop Pad Replacement

If double feeding occurs often, replace the double feed 
stop pads. Double feeding can occur for several rea-
sons. Refer to pages 67, 68 and 71.

Turn off the power switch.

Remove the two mounting screws 
on the double feed stop pads.

- Now the pads can be removed.

Attach new pads.

- Check that the mounting screws fit completely 

into the recesses in the pad assembly, then 
push down in on the assembly and tighten the 
screws.

- Attach each pad using the screws removed in 

step 2.
