Adjust the side gluing roller distance in increments of 0.1 mm (0.005”). The input
range is -1.0 mm to +5.0 mm (-0.040” to +0.195”).
Adjust the wiper opening of application drum 1.
Press
once, and the opening increases by 0.1 mm (0.005”). The glue will pene-
trate farther into the spine. The adjustment range is +0.1 to +2.0 mm (+0.005” to
+0.080”).
Adjust the wiper opening of application drum 2.
Press
once, and the opening increases by 0.1 mm (0.005”). More glue will be
applied to the spine. The adjustment range is +0.1 to +2.0 mm (+0.005” to +0.080”).
CAUTION
The wiper opening adjustment should not
be used to adjust the spine glue thickness.
But when the opening is set 0.5 mm (0.02”)
or less, glue may not be applied to the book
spine at all.
