2-3 Test Milling and Gluing
- Test Milling and Gluing Screen
The test milling and test gluing operations can be performed using this screen.
Test Milling Button. Press this button, and only the milling operation is performed and
the booklet is delivered from the delivery section. Use this function to check milling
depth.
Test Gluing Button. Press this button to perform milling and gluing operation. The
booklet stops above the nipping section with no cover sheet and stays there until the
start button is pressed. Wait until the glue hardens, and check the applied glue
amount. Press start buttons to deliver the booklet. Use this function to check the glue
amount on the booklet.
Test Binding Button. Press this button to perform a single binding with a cover sheet.
The machine does not feed the next cover sheet.
Condition Monitor. When appears here, the test milling or the test gluing opera-
tions can be started.
This button is used to stop the motor on each unit after the binding operation. (Before
the motor drives, start icon is indicated.) Press this button before switching the power
off.
Press this button to feed one cover sheet. The machine memorizes the cover sheet
thickness in order to detect the double feeding.
Press this button to lower the feed table.
