8-1 Installation

This section includes procedures that can be performed
only by our service engineer.

Move the carriage clamp.

- Move the chain

shown below by hand,

about 5 cm (19.68”) along the arrow direction.

- Push the carriage clamp at its end

and

move it to the left end.

- Remove the foam polystyrene below the car-
riage clamp.

Place three feet under the leveling
bolts shown in the illustration
below.

There are four leveling bolts. Place

three of them first to level the machine.

Adjust the leveling bolts and lift up

the machine so that the machine

becomes level.

- Place a water level on the nipper in two direc-

tions (shown in the illustration below) to check
for level.

- Lift up the machine so that the casters do not

touch the floor.

8. Installation

CAUTION

The BQ-270 weighs about 900Kg (409 lb).
Be careful when moving the machine.
