2-4 Fine Adjustment
- - - Glue Fine-Adjust Screen Part 3
This adjusts the wiper opening for application drum 1.
Press
once, and the opening increases by 0.1 mm (0.005”). More glue will pen-
etrate into the spine of the book. The adjustment range is +0.1 to +2.0 mm (+0.005” to
+0.080”).
This adjusts the wiper opening for application drum 2.
Press
once, and the opening increases by 0.1 mm (0.005”). More glue will be
applied. The adjustment range is +0.1 to +2.0 mm (+0.005” to +0.080”).
CAUTION
The wiper opening adjustment should not
be used to adjust the spine glue thickness.
But when the opening is set 0.5 mm (0.02”)
or less, glue may not be applied to the book
spine at all.
