Maintenance of the detector
Q
Cleaning the detector
The shape of the sensor head is such that dirt, etc. does not easily adhere to it. However, if
there is heavy dirt, or if a decrease in the amount of zero light occurs, perform the cleaning
work.
1.
Pull up the detector from the measurement tank.
2.
Wash the detector with a sponge, etc. while pouring tap water over the detector.
3.
Clean microbial dirt by spraying the detector with a chlorine-base sterilizer.
4.
After cleaning, wash off the detergent with clean water .
Note
z
Wipe off all dirt on the mainframe of the detector and the tip of the converter properly.
z
Wipe off the optical system parts between the gap of the tip with sponge, etc.
z
The tip of the detector is made of resin. There is a possibility that the tip of the detector may be
altered by a mechanical impact.
z
Prevent the sensor head from dropping off during the cleaning work.
