If you try to open the sunroof in
below-freezing temperatures, or
when it is covered with snow or ice,
you can damage the sunroof panel or
motor.
The sunroof can be tilted up in the
back for ventilation, or it can be slid
back into the roof. Use the switch on
the front ceiling to operate the
sunroof. You must turn the ignition
switch to the ON (II) position to
operate the sunroof.
To tilt up the back of the sunroof,
straight up on the centre of the
switch. To close the sunroof, push
the switch forward and hold it. To
open the sunroof, pull the switch
backward and hold it.
Always take the ignition
key with you whenever you leave the
vehicle alone (with other occupants).
Extending the head, arms
or other parts of the body through the
sunroof while the vehicle is moving can
cause serious injury or death.
