To remove fog from the inside of the
windows:
Set the fan to the desired speed, or
high for faster defrosting.
Select
. The system
automatically switches to Fresh
Air mode and turns on the A/C.
(The A/C indicator will not come
on in the display)
Adjust the temperature so the
airflow feels warm.
Select
to help clear the
rear window.
To increase airflow to the
windshield, close the corner vents.
When you switch to another mode
from
, the A/C stays on.
(The A/C indicator will not come
on in the display). Press the A/C
button to turn if off.
To clear the windows faster, you can
close the dashboard corner vents by
rotating the wheel below it. This will
send more warm air to the
windscreen defroster vents. Once
the windscreen is clear, select the
fresh air mode to avoid fogging the
windows.
For your safety, make sure you have
a clear view through all the windows
before driving.
Select . The system

Set the fan and temperature
controls to the maximum level.
The automatic climate control
system adjusts the fan speed and
airflow levels to maintain the interior
temperature you select, and it
controls switching fresh air/interior
air recirculation as well.
Press the AUTO button.
Set the desired temperature with
the temperature control buttons.
You will see FULL AUTO in the
system’s display.
The system automatically selects the
proper mix of conditioned and/or
heated air to raise or lower the
interior temperature to the
temperature you selected.
If you set the temperature to its
lower limit or its highest limit, the
system runs at full cooling or heating
only. It does not regulate the interior
temperature.
