4. COOL EMERGENCY BUTTON:
Used when the remote control is lost or inoperative. Press the button
to turn the air conditioner ON. The unit operates automatically according to the room temperature. The
setting conditions of cool emergency operation are Operation Mode (COOL), Fan Speed (Auto), Preset
Temperature (75ºF), and Timer Mode (Disabled).
5. REMOTE CONTROL SIGNAL RECEIVER:
When the remote control sends a signal to the air
conditioner, a beeping sound will be heard indicating the signal is received. Remote must be directly in
line with receiver to perform properly.
Maintenance
• Remove and clean filters once a month, or more frequently depending on air quality. Filters are located in
the ceiling cover. To remove filters, pull down slightly and remove them from the cover. Wash filters with
clean water or vacuum them.
• Remove ceiling cover and wash condenser coil twice a year.
• Remove ceiling cover and clean the water drains yearly.
• Replace remote control batteries once a year. Remove battery cover on the back of the remote. Remove
batteries. Install two new alkaline batteries (1.5V, LR03x2 should be used). Press the RST button with a
sharp object to reset the remote. Reinstall back cover.

If problems with the air conditioner exist, check the following guide before contacting a service
representative.

Unit does not operate properly.
Unit may be disconnected from power supply. Check the power supply of the trailer
and make sure it is provided
correctly.
Unit is not cooling the trailer.
Temperature setting is too high.
Reset the Air V to a lower
temperature.
Trailer was already very hot before unit was
turned on.
Allow a sufficient amount of time for
unit to cool the trailer.
Unit is making noises
Unit is clicking and gurgling.
These noises are not normal during
operation of the unit.
Unit has water dripping inside.
Base pan gasket is not evenly compressed to
about sixty percent.
Mounting bolts should be tightened
evenly by compressing the base pan
gasket to the sixty percent
requirement.
Unit has ice or frost on the coils. The filter is dirty.
Remove and clean the filter.
Unit ON lamp flickers.
Malfunction of the sensors or compressor is
detected.
