To start pump after unhooking city water supply, or for first time use:
• Fill the fresh water tank.
• Open all faucets. This includes hot and cold water faucets and shower.
• Turn water pump on and wait for water lines and hot water heater to fill.
• Close each faucet when it delivers a steady stream of water (cold water faucets first).
FaUCet SCreenS
Fresh water sources will vary by location. A build up of lime deposit or debris on the faucet screens may
restrict or plug the flow of water coming from the faucets. All faucet screens should be checked and cleaned every
two weeks of use.
• Faucet screens are normally located on the outlet side of the faucet and held in place with a threaded collar.
• Remove screen from faucet.
• Clean screen using a small soft brush and de-liming solution.
• Reinstall screen and check water flow.
ShoWer - exterior
The exterior shower, located on the roadside of the recreational vehicle, is
equipped with both hot and cold water. To operate the shower turn on the faucet.
The shower will work from either the fresh water tank or the city water hookup.
Set water temperature by adjusting the hot and cold water flow. If the shower is
not going to be used for a time, drain the water out of the hose, especially in cold
weather conditions.
DiSinFeCting FreSh Water
Disinfecting the water system with chlorine bleach (superchlorination) protects the drinking water from
bacterial or viral contamination that may come from any common water source.
Disinfect the Water System every three months AND:
• If the recreational vehicle is new.
• If the recreational vehicle has not been used in a long time.
