NOTE:
Keep interior box temperature at or below 54º F to reduce food spoilage. The
Refrigerator will consume more energy to maintain temperature, especially in hot climates.
Lower temperature may lead to quicker frost build-up.
Refrigerator Controls
In Order for the Refrigerator to Operate:
• The house batteries must be fully charged.
• The LP-Gas valve must be on.
• The refrigerator AC cord plugged in (located in outside refrigerator access door).
If the controls do not light up check the house batteries charge status or see if the 12 Volt wires are plugged
into the refrigerator circuit board (outside in refrigerator access door).
Control Panel
Selector Switch: Starts and shuts down the refrigerator.
• Push the selector switch to the
AUTO
position to start the refrigerator in auto mode.
• Push the selector switch to the GAS position to start the refrigerator on LP-Gas.
Temperature Switch:
Controls the temperature adjustment of the freezer and the fresh food compartment.
The temperature adjustment selected does not change if the mode of operation of the refrigerator changes.
• Push the temperature switch to the desired temperature setting.
• The number “5” is the coldest temperature setting.
Automatic Mode: When the refrigerator is in AUTO mode, it automatically uses the most efficient energy
source that is available for operation. During operation, if a more efficient energy source becomes available, the
refrigerator controls change from the current energy source to the more efficient energy source. The first choice of
operation is AC operation.
• If 120 volts AC is available, the ON light is illuminated.
• If 120 volts AC is not available, the
ON
light and the GAS light are both illuminated.
Manual Mode: When the ON light and GAS light are both illuminated, the refrigerator is operating on
LP-Gas.
