This procedure resets all settings to their factory defaults.
The system is reset by pressing and holding the
START/STOP
key while turning the
instrument’s POWER switch on.
For details about the factory default settings, Refer to “Appendix 5 List of Default
Settings” (p. A11).
Initializing all settings (reset all)
• If you wish to reset settings stored in the instrument’s memory as well as language
and USB mode settings, turn on the instrument while holding down the
SAVE
key
and the
START/STOP
key.
• When the power is switched on, the language selection screen will display for you
to choose the language you wish to use.
• After resetting all settings, the USB mode will be set to USB Memory.

A confirmation dialog
appears.
Select
[Yes]
.
Apply
Initialization proceeds.
Settings stored in the instrument’s memory and language and USB mode settings will not
be reset.
The clock settings are retained even when a system reset or set-
ting initialization is performed.
